Meet Luke — the one who actually shows up.
Luke Masters started mowing lawns with his grandfather at eleven years old, growing up right here in Oklahoma City. He got his start in the trade at Marcum’s Nursery, learning how Oklahoma’s seasons, soil, and drainage really work — knowledge that still shapes where every tree and shrub gets planted, and he still sources most of his plant material through them today.
In 2022 he set out on his own with Scissortail Scapes & Services. It’s still a one-man operation by design — Luke plans the route, drives the truck, and does the work himself, which is why the same face and the same schedule show up at your property every time. He built the business around the two things he heard people complain about most with other companies: showing up when they said they would, and actually answering the phone.

During Oklahoma’s growing season (April–October), most lawns do best with weekly mowing. We’ll adjust frequency based on growth rate and your preference.
